Simple, delicious venison steaks. Use a backstrap and marinate for at least 24 hours for best results.
Ingredients
- 4 venison steaks loins or tenderloins, beef steaks work with this as well
- 1 tbs. Venison Steak and Burger Rub Sportsman's Table Item #3626
- 2 tbs. olive oil
Instructions
- Mix olive oil and seasoning into a thick paste. Baste each side of venison or beef steaks with mixture. Cover and marinate in regrigerator for 4 to 48 hours. To Cook: On a George Forman or other electric indoor grill: Grill for 3 minutes. Remove and enjoy. On stovetop in a skillet: Cook over medium to meidum-high heat (depending on your stove) for 2.5 minutes on each side. On a charcoal or gas grill: Sear steaks for 30 seconds on each side on direct heat. Remove steaks from direct heat but leave them on the grill. Shut lid and cook for 4-5 min depending on size/thickness of the steaks.
