Although our recipe site is mostly about cooking fish and game, we realize all our readers and customers do not ALWAYS have game and fish! Much to our dismay! When this happens at our house, my husband always argues that he needs to spend more time hunting and fishing. That is a story for another day. This might be the best “winter time” grilled chicken we have ever had. Like many folks, we grill chicken often outside in the summer time. Since it is February and cold and dark outside in the evenings that is not quite as convenient right now. We used the George Foreman Grill on our kitchen counter. It was fast and easy which is always a bonus for today’s busy lifestyles. We used our Sportsman’s Table’s Myron’s 20 Gauge Game Sauce in conjunction with a Venison or Beef BBQ Rub from our online store as well. We served this grilled game sauce chicken with boiled red potatoes with parsley and steamed snow peas and carrots. A healthy, satisfying meal that was also pleasing to the palate!

This grilled game sauce chicken meal cooks in 20 min total! If you choose different sides (the boiled red potatoes took 20 min.) it could be ready in ten minutes. Easy and delicious.
Ingredients
- 4 large chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup Myron's 20 Gauge Sauce Sportsman's Table Item Number MWR03203
- 4 T. Venison Barbeque Seasoning and Rub Sportsman's Table Item Number CY2688
Instructions
- Rinse chicken well in cold water and trim any fat or skin you wish. Plan chicken is shallow container shake 2 T. of BBQ rub on the chicken and rub into chicken with back of spoon or tap with a tenderizing mallet. Flip chicken over and sprinkle the other 2 T. of BBQ Rub on the other side. Repeat rubbing it into the meat on side 2. Pour Myron's 20 gauge game sauce over the chicken. Flip the chicken every few hours if you can. Marinate for about 12 hours if possible. A shorter time will also flavor the chicken just fine.. even 20-30 minutes will give you good flavor. Preheat the George Foreman Grill (5-10 min.). Place chicken on the grill and close. Grill for 4-8 minutes depending on the thickness of your chicken breasts. Let chicken sit on a cover warming plate for 5 minutes. Serve. Boiled red potatoes and steamed fresh veggies make great sides for this meal.
