Simple Garlic Venison Roast

Garlic lovers become venison lovers with this wonderful roast.



  1. Use a sharp knife and cut small slits across the surface of the roast about 1/4 in. wide and 1/2 in. deep. Slice garlic cloves paper thin and place into each slit and press deeply into roast. Cover the whole roast in olive oil. Slice onions very thin. Place onions all around the venison roast in a roasting pan. Leave the roast sit for 6-8 hours. Bake in covered roasting pan (we like to use foil to cover instead of a lid) at 350 degrees for about 40-60 min.depending on size of the roast.
