Hardy venison nachos are great comfort food on a cold winter day, add football game and the day is complete!
Ingredients
- 1 small onion diced
- 2 diced jalapeno peppers
- 1 sliced jalapeno peppers
- 1 tbs. olive oil
- 1 lb. ground venison
- 2 cups salsa
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1 bag tortillia chips
Instructions
- Saute 1/2 small diced onion and 2 jalapeno peppers in olive oil for approximately 5 min. (until translucent and soft), add ground venison and brown. Place tortilla chips in baking stone or dish. Add venison mixture, salsa, cheese, and 1 jalapeno pepper (sliced not diced). Bake for 10-15 min. at 350 degrees. Remove and top with shredded lettuce and sour cream.
