Game Gourmet Stew

This recipe is from the Game Gourmet Soups and Stews Cooking System, available from Sportsman's Table, Item #GG04.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs. game birds waterfowl or upland, cut into 1 in. cubes
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1 cup diced carrot
- 1 cup celery, sliced
- 1 cup red or green peppers sliced in 1 in. pieces, include seeds
- 1 cup diced tomatoes undrained
- 3 cups potatoes cut into 1 in. cubes
- 1 tbs. corn starch
- 1 tbs. all purpose flour
- 1 packet Upland Game Game Gourmet Sportsman's Table Item #GG03
Instructions
- Remove all fat, silver skin and bone from game meat. Place meat and vegetable pieces into the provided cooking bag. Add base and shake to combine well. Add 3 cups of water and close bag. Cut a pencil size hole in the top of the bag. Place bag in dutch oven or roasting pan. Do not cover. Place pan in oven at 325 degrees. Remove from oven after 2.5 hours, and let sit for 5 min.
