If you use a good cut of venison, these steaks will melt in your mouth.
Ingredients
- 4 medium elk steaks
- 1 can beef broth
- 8 oz. morrell mushrooms
- 1 tbs. butter
- 1 tbs. olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbs. flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch rosemary
Instructions
- Flour and salt and pepper steaks. Sear in oil and butter for 2 min per side. Remove steaks. Saute morrell mushrooms in same pan in butter and garlic. Season mushrooms with a pinch of rosemary. Add 1 can of beef broth to mushrooms. Whisk gravy to thicken and reduce lumps. Pour mushrooms and gravy over steak. Serve with mash potatoes and your favorite vegetable.
