Vickers Deer Meatballs

This is a fun recipe from my Deer Burger Cookbook, Item #SPB01 on this website. It is a hit at deer camp. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 lb. deer burger (ground venison)
- 1/2 chopped green onion
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. fresh white pepper
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tsp. corn starch
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbs. cooking sherry
- 2 tbs. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tbs. canola or vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground venison, onion, flour, egg, garlic salt, pepper, soy sauce, cornstarch, water, sherry, brown sugar, and ginger. Shape into deer balls, "I make these little critters about 1-inch". Heat the oil in your Camp Chef Lumber Jack Skillet and cook until the center is no longer pink. Got it? Cool!
