Medallions of Venison

Ingredients
- 1 lb. venison tenderloin cut in 1 in. pieces
- 1 tbs. olive oil
- 2 tbs. Black Nugget Marinade Sportsman's Table Item #CYC1837
- 1 cedar plank pre-soaked
Instructions
- Mix black nugget marinade with olive oil to make a paste. Rub or baste onto both sides of medallions of venison. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate for at least 2 hours. Cook for 5-6 min. on stove top, probably only about 4 min. on a George Forman Grill (recommended method). If you want to grill them on a charcoal or gas grill, we recommend using our Cedar Grilling Planks (Item numbers CGP01 & CGP02 on this site). This method will take approximately 8-10 min., depending how hot your grill is. If using a cedar grilling plank, make sure it is well saturated with liquid, soak in water, beer or wine for at least 3 hours. Outcome is a delicious DelMonico tasting steak.
