Awesome Antler Vension Soup

This soup has a wonderful flavor that will warm your bones on a cold winter day.
Ingredients
- 10 cups tomatoes
- 1 29 oz. can tomato puree
- 1 14 oz. can beef broth or chicken broth
- 1 1/2 lbs. venison sirlion or roast
- 1/2 lb. venison sweet sausage we used Sportsman's Table Item #CYC1870, pre-made before this recipe, chopped in 1/2 in. cubes
- 2 tbs. olive oil or bacon grease
- 2 cups sliced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 2 cups diced onions
- 1 16 oz. package frozen peas
- 1 16 oz. package frozen corn
- 1/2 16 oz. package snow peas
- 1 tbs. salt
- 2 tbs. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbs. Awesome Anter Rub Sportsman's Table Item #MG104
- 1 tbs. minced garlic
- 1 tbs. parsley
- 1 tbs. cilantro
- 1 tsp. black pepper
Instructions
- In a very large pot, sear the meat in bacon grease or olive oil. Add tomatoes, tomato puree, and broth and bring to a slow boil and add the seasonings. Simmer to blend flavors for approx. 30 min. Add remaining ingredients. Let stew for 2-3 hours until all is cooked. Enjoy with whole grain bread.
